Favorite Dockside Drinks

Impress your friends by ordering some of our favorite, unique drink concoctions at your next South Florida dockside destination. Whether you’re out boating in Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Lighthouse Point or Miami-side —South Florida’s got no shortage of places to drop anchor and whet your whistle. Of course, there’s still always a nice cold beer for the traditionalists among us, but when you are feeling adventurous, try out some of these beauties:

Guilty Plea – One way to liven up any boat trip, just add tequila and some spice! This drink is made with tequila, Thai chili, passion fruit and jalapeño.

Thai Basil Cocktail – A mod twist on the martini with flavor and class. Order your martini with Clementine Vodka, Basil and Grapefruit.

Kir Royale – Simple and sophisticated, your friends will be impressed when you order a champagne with a splash of Chambord (Blackberry Liquour).

Mojito – The Cuban classic is always a hit. You won’t have to tell the bartender the ingredients in South Florida, but if you’re curious, here you go: white rum, sugar, lime juice, sparkling water, and mint

El Presidente – With a presidential election quickly approaching, we thought this drink might be fitting. Order it and avoid talking politics; it’s made with rum, dry vermouth, curacao, grenadine

Tipsy Pineapple – You’ll be on island time in no time once you stick a straw in this frozen delight which is made with pineapple chunks, pineapple juice, milk, spiced rum, sugar. Blend, repeat!

So, if you’ve already booked your boating adventure with Boatsetter, congrats! Now all you have to do is plan your dockside drink order. If not, no worries – there’s a fleet of amazing, privately-owned boats to choose from and including a captain is easy + affordable, so you can have that extra Mojito and leave the driving to someone else.

Counting the seconds to getting out on the boat over the weekend, isn’t that what everyone does on Mondays? Got a favorite drink that the world should know about? Don’t keep it a secret…
